We are here to assist you from beginning to end, from designing your custom building, or helping clients through the complete home building/finishing process. We do waterfront consultations, to assist you in buying your new lakefront home. We will come and measure water depth to determine your new dock dimensions. We will assist in finding the perfect boat lifts for all your toys. We offer water delivery via barge, and will haul away your old junk dock or lifts. Sometimes we offer trade in value on them!

They put up my 30x50 steel building in 2.5 days last fall. I'm very pleased with the building so far and am looking forward to completing my build-out and opening my new business. Most of our local contractors were busy with completing their 2023 work last fall, but this company advertises heavily on TV6, and they include information in their commercials of whether they were still putting buildings up for 2023. This was incredibly helpful. I noticed about a month later that the commercial had been updated when it said they were accepting orders for 2024. Northern Michigan Outdoor Sales works with a Gwinn business (R&D Builders) who came in, cleared the land, and poured the concrete for both pads. Saved me the trouble of finding someone to do that. Two areas of concern: the assembly crew from Illinois ran out of concrete anchors due to an unexpected change on a build prior to mine. I contacted the company at the foreman's request, and they shipped me the anchors I needed. They arrived three days later and I completed the work with a friend. They also didn't caulk the bottom of the structure, so I did that myself with silicone. Overall, it was a successful project. American Steel Carports did the design work and the build; Northern Michigan Outdoor Sales did the coordination.

From start to finish everything went very well.Alex was great with helping with the final details.Sammy was excellent with our scheduling so the building could be installed around my schedule.Carlos and his crew were phenomenal putting the building up. Our boat hoist broke late in the evening and I was bummed that it might take several weeks to resolve. I texted Alex about the problem, he happened to be out on the lake, and was on our dock 10 minutes later! He and his crew fixed the problem so that we could use the hoist if careful. And they will be back to fix it in a permanent manner. I was astounded how fast Alex responded and to be able to fix the hoist so quickly was absolutely fantastic! Alex has helped us out on several projects for the past couple years and we will continue to use and recommend him.

I hired Alex and his crew to do some excavation and roofing work on my home, and the entire experience was excellent. They showed up on time, worked hard, and delivered great results.
